Plot: Having graduated from the police academy, Mahoney, along with his wisecracking fellow alums, have been given the tough assignment in the city's most crime-ridden precinct. Seems a local tough named Zed has a gang and is causing the most trouble, but the real problem is Mauser, an ambitious officer who wants them to fail so he can get promoted. -- Chris Kavan
