Plot: A man, facing his drunken shrew of a wife, consults a lawyer for the best way to get away with murder. But after nearly being poisoned, he winds up stabbing her and the lawyer, who has a big mouth, must take on the case to acquit him. Despite the facts of the case, and that his client gleefully confesses to the murder, the case plays out much differently than one would imagine. -- Chris Kavan
