Plot: Martin Joubert is en ex-Parisian, settled into a Norman village as a baker who is a self-styled hipster with a penchant for author Gustave Flaubert. When an English couple moves to town, he notices their names are Gemma and Charlie Bovery and as he gets to know them, finds they share a lot in common with the main characters in Flaubert's seminal novel Madame Bovery. -- Chris Kavan
