Plot: Aren't we all a little crazy? Patrick is 26, warm, open and schizophrenic. His mother, Maura is smothering and obsessive, keeping Patrick in line with pills and her own control. But Patrick has chance encounter with Karen, an alcoholic and suicidal stewardess and love may break both of them out of their respective damaging lives - unless Maura can get the dysfunctional, loner Freeman, a policeman who will help... for a price. -- Chris Kavan
