Plot: A con man on the lam finds himself in Patria, a Latin-American country where he overhears convent-bred rich girl Yolanda praying for a guardian angel to appear and help her in her business affairs. Realizing this is a perfect opportunity, he poses as her "angel" all the while planning to help himself to her millions. Yet, just as the plan is about to go off without a hitch, he realizes he has fallen for the girl and nixes the plan while offering a confession - both to the crime and of his love - when he attempts to flee Patria, things are much for difficult than anticipated.
