Plot: The Royal National Gallery board of directors is eager to rid themselves of security guard Bean as all he does is sleep on the job. They ship him off to L.A. as an "art scholar" to present and protect the just-donated painting Whistler's Mother at a small museum. But Bean is far from being a scholar and the painting is anything but safe in his keep. -- Chris Kavan
