Similar to the premise of Trance but with humor and less structure. The talents of Rickman and Firth have been wasted as they are reduced to cartoonish figures. It was surprising how uneven and uninteresting the plot was coming from the screenplay of the Coen brothers. Direction was not as spectacular though some scenes were somewhat laughable. Background characters lack development and the actual "act" felt prolonged and late. It felt the picture focused on the comedy rather than the story. Overall, a very average comedy with Cameron Diaz using an accent and bravely confronting a lion.
