World War Z review

Realistic, action packed and smart zombie flick. Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), his wife Karin's (Mireille Enos) family is caught on the road from a widespread panic because of a virus spread in New Jersey. Some memorable lines from the movie: "It's crazy." "Movement is life." "If you can fight, fight...help each other...be prepared for anything" - Gerry "With all respect please turn off all cell phones and pagers." Its themes is varied which range from isolationism, survival, family, fighting for a resolution and nations in crumble because of government/a virus. Some minor glitches for this critic would be the obvious sequel in which he said "This isn't the end. Not even close. Our war has just begun," how easily Gerry dodges some very nifty situations and lack of depth since the background characters just meander around the story-line. Soundtrack and direction were spectacular and plot inventive coupled with sufficient background of the virus. World War Z is one of the better zombie films released.
