Mr. Nice Guy review

A fun action comedy which touches on crime, friendship and loyalty. TV chef Jackie (Jackie Chan) aids Television journalist Diana (Gabrielle Fitzpatrick) in escaping the henchmen of a mob boss. She has an important tape that is accidentally switched with Jackie's tape. The film suffers due to bad acting, unbelievable antagonist with little character development and a better soundtrack. Highlights would be the humor, overkill in Pepsi's product placement, too choreographed car crashes and awesome stunts of Jackie Chan. In this opinion, it should be one of his best and was highly enjoyable. The big budget was evident with car crashes and crunches (which you would find in the near conclusion) and elegant set-pieces. One would never look at construction equipment as a simple tool after viewing this. Mr. Nice Guy is action packed with the innovative brilliance of Jackie Chan, it even boasts a blooper reel which shows the talented lead going thru dangerous stunts and difficulty with lines.
