Rudy review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 01/12/13

Daniel Eugene "Rudy" Ruettiger dreams of going to Notre Dame and playing for the Fighting Irish. He is inspired to achieve his dreams because of his best friend Pete, who likewise works in his fathers factory. People say negative things about Rudy because of his height and lack of talents.

People will still enjoy this especially when your feeling low. Not entirely a football flick, but about persistence, courage and believing in your dreams with friends along the way. A simple plot yet full of drama and inspiration coupled with a lovely score and sincere performances. Great screenplay with lines from Fortune - "In this life, you don't have to prove nothin' to nobody but yourself." and Pete - " Well, you know what my dad always said, Having dreams is what makes life tolerable." One of the best sports films based on a true story, Rudy inspires and entertains at the same time.
