Death at a Funeral review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 12/21/12

"Death is everywhere." Had a few laughable scenes such as Oscar in the rest room, Aaron discovering his dad's secret and the Sponge-Bob remark. Was surprisingly impressed with the screenplay with lines from Derek "You only live once." Ryan "Don't you try laughing, enjoying life." Elaine "This is my life." and Aaron "But hey, life is complicated. We do our best." On the negative side, aside from the toilet/childish humor and cheesy moments, the character of Norman was plain irritating from the beginning. Unfortunately, some characters felt cartoonish and just plain idiotic. Too bad the film head popular skilled artists. Soundtrack and direction was fair. Death at a Funeral is worth viewing because of some funny scenes and importance of life.
