Bottle Rocket review

One of the instances where a debut movie shows the potential of a filmmaker. This first movies shows a promising director whose ability to present humor is never doubtful coupled with awesome casting and effective soundtracks. Dignan (Owen C. Wilson) "rescues" Anthony (Luke Wilson) and teams-up with Bob (Robert Musgrave). Despite the short role Caan had, he was still amazing. Soundtrack was upbeat, direction professional and performances sincere especially from Owen Wilson, who definitely outshines his brother here. Only flaw this rater observed were the finality between Inez and Anthony, and the short onscreen time for James Caan. Screenplay was funny and meaningful at the same time, which proves the formula Anderson will be using in the future. Bottle Rocket is about trying to achieve your dreams, forgiveness and friendships, even when things go horribly wrong.
