My Cousin Vinny review

Billy Gambini (Ralph Macchio) and Stan Rothenstein (Mitchell Whitfield) were charged for murder of a clerk and as an accessory. Vinny Gambini (Joe Pesci) together with Mona Lisa Vito (Marisa Tomei) try to help. Chamberlain Haller (Fred Gwynne) becomes curious about Vinny's legal expertise. It was impossible for the swift turnaround of Vinny's legal expertise and attitude during the trial. Another baffling thing was allowing the profanities used in court in the early stages of the proceedings, speed of tracing the tire tracks and judge being easily fooled. On a positive note, Tomei and Pesci had exceptional onscreen chemistry which makes this laughable. The script was witty and funny. Best lines: Vinny - "All I ask is for that one chance. I think you should give it to me." and Lisa - "Maybe it was a bad time to bring it up." One of the best court room scenes on film. My Cousin Vinny is a terrific comedy with intellectual dialogues to keep you glued despite some of the "Hollywoodish" moments.
