The Addams Family review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 10/19/12

Freaky and at times funny characters with a catchy soundtrack and lush set-pieces. A peculiar family consisting of Gomez Addams (Raúl Juliá), Morticia (Anjelica Huston), and children Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman). Abigail (Elizabeth Wilson) her son Gordon (Christopher Lloyd) try to fool the family and making him look like Fester, a brother who had a conflict with Gomez. Best line: "People change." from Margaret, who goes out with cousin "It." Wednesday and Morticia were the only likable characters. Effects look dated and screenplay could have been improved to make it more engaging. Best scene was the gory play of Pugsley and Wednesday. The Addams Family is a fair comedy about poor motherly parenting, deceit, transformation and loyalty to family.
