Cinema Verite review

One of the underrated look at reality TV related pictures. An interesting look at the pioneer of reality TV. Craig Gilbert (James Gandolfini) meets with Pat Loud (Diane Lane) about the idea of a documentary of reality, which will focus on her family. Bill (Tim Robbins) has a business and has 5 children. Score was fitting for the era and the performances of Lane/Gandolfini were superb. Screenplay was excellent with quotes: "The hardest part I can think of in life is disappointing the people I love most in the world." and "Life doesn't go the way you want it." Pace was good and pace suffice. Lacks that certain charm for its genre though the dual shots with the real footage was a nice touch. Cinema Verite is about family, consequences of media exposure and feelings of people.
