I recall this to be an engaging picture about rape and how realistic it was portrayed. Jodie Foster was mesmerizing and authentic with her performance. Saddening yet realistic in every sense. One of the few gem's that touches on a sensitive subject that is thought provoking. Also a rarity for a wonderful picture based on a real story, The Accused delivers.
