Big Nothing

Big Nothing review

Starts off slow then builds-up to the peculiar ending. Charlie (David Schwimmer) is an ex-teacher who becomes a call center agent (though he applied for the supervisory role) and meets Gus (Simon Pegg). The pair discuss a blackmail to earn some money. They are aided by a teenage Oklahoma pageant queen Josie McBroom (Alice Eve). Script tried to be too smart with endless facts from Charlie. Had a few funny moments but execution was quite dull and saddening in the end. Big Nothing is a descent dark comedy with a terrific soundtrack and nice small twist.
