Fascinating how many people enjoyed this particular movie. This has the potential to be a cult classic in its own right. Dana (Kristen Connolly), Curt (Chris Hemsworth), Jules (Anna Hutchison), Marty (Fran Kranz), and Holden (Jesse Williams) go on a vacation in a cabin. On the downside, Some of the characters were irritating and plain boring. This reviewer felt the direction was going in different places. Humor was not that effective though the effects and gore were very believable. Performances were descent but the only thing interesting was the near conclusion, which really deviated to the plot's beginning. Call it a twist or suprise factor for audiences, it was still uneven. Cabin in the Woods is a horror flick mixed with fantasy and some disappointing deaths.
