The Double (2011)

The Double review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 04/18/12

In 1988, a group people were murdered. Paul (Gere) and Ben (Grace) tries to resolve a case involving a Russian operative. The identity of Cassius was obvious from the beginning. Manner of resolving was clever and soundtrack was thrilling. Car chase was exciting, fight scenes enticing and the final scenes were the best, if it only had more mystery to Gere’s character instead of placing too much clues. Grace was uninteresting and it was iffy seeing Richard Gere in this type of role, which was a rarity. The Double was somewhat entertaining though it lacks a certain punch for its genre.
