This critic was able to view the film on a movie channel. Mary Katherine Gallagher (Shannon) is a misfit who has a crush on Sky Corrigan (Will Ferrell). It had a few laughable scenes, but the direction and iffy situations outweigh the positives. most of the humor was dry and characters just a bit idiotic and cartoonish. You have a conceited chick, Ferrell playing Christ and a weird biker guy who likes Mary. It felt like watching an extended skit from SNL rather than a movie. Superstar is not a good flick to watch considering its cast, if only the screenplay and other aspects were better planned.
