Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back review

Jay and Silent Bob (Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith) try to get their royalties from Holden McNeil (Ben Affleck) for creating a film based on their characters from the comicbook he created namely Bluntman and Cronic. The homage’s on the film include Scream, E.T., Good Will Hunting, American Pie, Batman, Planet of the Apes, Star Wars and Smith’s previous efforts. Had too many gay joke references, ludicrous scenes such as Federal Wildlife Marshal Willenholly (Will Ferrell) incapability of determining a kid from an orangutan, kids being left outside a convenience store and the matrix like girl weaving through sensors by walking on the wall’s. It comprises of a lot of cameos such as Wes Craven, Mark Hamill, Chris Rock and more. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is a descent comedy compared to the Smith’s previous works.
