Dr. Martin Harris (Liam Neeson) and wife Liz (January Jones) arrive in Berlin for a biotechnology summit. Martin realizes his briefcase was left at the airport after arriving from the hotel. A taxi he took to retrieve the briefcase crashes from a bridge. He is saved from drowning by the taxi driver named Gina. Martin discovers his wife with another man claiming to be her husband. To his amazement, Liz doesn’t recognize Martin. Dr. Harris searches for Prof. Leo Bressler (Sebastian Koch), whose identity will be revealed towards the latter portion of the film. It had a few unbelievable scenes, a Doctor that can fight and several coincidental situations involved just for a stolen briefcase. Best parts are the beginning and near ending. Nevertheless, the portrayal of Liam Neeson and sincerity with the role with a solid participation of Diane Kruger makes Unknown worth viewing.
