Changing Lanes review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 01/02/12

An insurance agent Doyle Gipson (Jackson) and lawyer Gavin Banek (Affleck) have a car accident. Gavin leaves his folder accidentally. Both of their lives change when an important document was not returned. An important quote that somewhat summarizes the main topic of the picture - “I want to do this right.” and “I’m really sorry.” Subjects of forgiveness, clear conscience and priorities were touched. The 2 figures change after the accident, Doyle is a just man who turns to rage because of frustration while Gavin is a conceited person who transforms into a sensitive generous man. Soundtrack was alright and performances honest, the supporting cast was somewhat disappointing though. Changing Lanes was alright, snail paced with idiotic characters which could have altered their outcome if they just did the right thing.
