Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy review

A famous San Diego news anchorman Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) works for KVWN-TV Channel 4 Evening News with his team: the frank Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), sportscaster tough and loud Champion "Champ" Kind (David Koechner), and mentally retarded chief meteorologist Brick Tamland (Steve Carell). Network boss Ed Harken (Fred Willard), hires Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate), which causes envy and commotion since there has never been a female news caster in 1975. Cameos from Tim Robbins, Ben Stiller, Luke Wilson, Vince Vaughn, Jack Black and Seth Rogen were a treat. Only aspects of the film that bothered this reviewer are its ludicrous scenes such as the lack of blood when Wilson's arms decapitated, pushing a woman in a bear pit, grown men fighting over ratings and Burgundy beating up Veronica. soundtrack was not that interesting though it had some humorous and laugh out loud scenes. Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy is a good star studded comedy that can be enjoyed despite some of its unbelievability and childish acts.
