21 Grams review
Daniel Corleone - wrote on 11/29/11

Stories of 3 individuals intertwined involving a reformed convict Jack Jordan (Benicio del Toro), a stalker type stubborn professor named Paul Rivers (Sean Penn) and a widowed drug addict Cristina Peck (Naomi Watts). The style of directing was confusing at first, trying to much to be like Memento. The soundtrack and cinematography was alright. What makes this film special are the performances of the 3 main figures and screenplay. Wonderful lines from Paul - "There are so many things that have to happen for two people to meet." "How many lives do we live? How many times do we die? They say we all lose 21 grams... at the exact moment of our death." Jack - "God knows when a single hair moves on your head." Premise of 21 Grams was good and could have been better if told in a direct manner and less dragging scene's that are obvious.
