Interview with the Vampire review

Way back when there were the Twilight franchise the Hollywood A list hunks ruled the vampire scene. You have Christian Slater (the reporter Daniel Molloy), Brad Pitt (the gorgeous Louis de Pointe du Lac), Tom Cruise (the wise vampire) and Kirsten Dunst (Claudia the vampire daughter) as the talented main cast delivers. Antonio Banderas as Armand also shines. Cinematography was grandiose to accentuate the beautiful 18th century era, an elegant score with a wonderful screenplay based on the popular novel created by Anne Rice. The set pieces were majestic and the pace of the picture was not disappointing. Some memorable lines: Armand - "The world changes, we do not; therein lies the irony that finally kills us." Lestat - "Don't be afraid. I'm going to give you the choice I never had."Louis - "Forgive me if I have a lingering respect for life." One of the best, if not the best vampire film along with The Lost Boys. Interview with the Vampire is an entertaining movie about choices, responsibility, change, power and of course, vampires.
