Adam Sandler has made some of his fair share of decent (Mr. Deeds, Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, etc.) and good (Anger Management, Wedding Singer, Click, Just Go With it, etc.). Unfortunately, this film ranks lower than his previous bomb shells like The Waterboy and Little Nicky. A dumb plot, moronic accents and insignificant cameo’s are present. More things to loathe? The monotonous lines and gestures that he thinks made him cool and an idiotic scene where both of his feet beats up a character. So many forgettable characters, yes parts made me laugh. The essence of the film? The hummus? The dogs? The insane reference to his genitals? I felt this film tried too hard at everything. To be funny and have a lesson. At least in the end, he did what he always dreamed of as a kid, to cut hair. Pathetic even until the end. Mariah Carey is in this, so you know it smells disaster. Jeez!
