Another one that got away, probably due to its unwholesome subject matter. Weird IT worker (now there's a thing) buys a design-yourself, silicone sex doll. Now sooner is she out of the box than he's going all the way with her, even hooking up with some S&M. Thing is, he modeled the doll on a co-worker who he's got the hots for.
As the psychosis takes hold you're never sure where this is heading - certainly not the place where it ends up. Tension is sustained throughout as the narrative maintains a perfect balance between a keeping-it-real thriller and a black comedy. Best line: "Just because she isn't alive doesn't mean she isn't real". Excellent.
