To those thinking about viewing The Last Airbender by M. Night, please don't. If you are looking to see a good portrayal of the animated kid's tv show Avatar: The Last Airbender, this is not the film to go see. Watch the actual tv show on Netflix or something. This is just a waste of your time.
This film is chuck full of bad acting, bad writing, and somewhat racial groupings of Asian and Indian culture. The only good thing that this film has going for it is the quasi-decent graphics. Many key points of the first season that were supposed to be portrayed, were not. Night basically strewed himself on this fact, for many of these points that were left out, come up in the other two seasons. If he were to attempt to fill in these details in a second film, while trying to continue the storyline, he would create an even worse film.
