The Addams Family

3/4 stars

Despite bouts of dullness during the second act, 'The Addams Family' is for the most part a witty and macabre fun house with some beautifully-timed one-liners and some excellent performances. The photography by Owen Roizman (easily one of my favourite cinematographers) is surprisingly dreary, though.
