Rock, Rock, Rock
A few shining musical moments
2/4 stars

I rate this .5 for about 90% of it, and 4 solid stars for the few minutes of great performance footage of Chuck Berry, The Flamingos, Johnny Burnette, and Frankie Lyman and the Teenagers. The movie's idiotic plot serves (poorly) as an excuse for the music parade. What's worse is that Alan Freed, who was undoubtedly behind this movie getting made, gives himself an opportunity, in front of a rock-boogie band, to demonstrate his utter lack of musical ability.

Look for the great performance clips on YouTube. Don't wait through the agony of Tuesday Weld, Alan Freed, & Co.
