No Man of Her Own (1950)

Watch it for Barbara Stanwyck

Some nice moments of suspense, some dark-street noir cinematography, and a fine performance by Barbara Stanwyck make this movie worth a look. The ending's a little bit preposterous, as is the extent some of those around Barbara's character go to give her every benefit of the doubt. As it happens, she deserves it--but they don't know that.

All in all, nothing grand but not bad entertainment.
