Scrooge (1935) 
The first talkie Scrooge is a fine one

A fine adaptation of Scrooge even if it is limited by a lack of special effects, and being a very old movie. That being the sound and the look is not the highest quality. The strength of the story still comes out anyways and this remains a good version. Seymour Hicks is a fine Scrooge, and the rest of the cast is fine in their individual roles. This version is not a great version but is a fine first talkie scrooge.
