The Crying Game

I did not know what it was trying for

A film that I will admit I had no idea what it was trying to be exactly, I did not know what genre is wanted to be. I know it did not really work in any genre because the way it switched around. There were twists and plot elements all which I understood but what I di not understand was what the movie wanted to be. I did not enjoy and it failed to interest me.

Oscar Nominee Best Actor Stephen Rea 3/5- Rea is fine in this movie although later I feel he does partially go into the acting school of just looking tired. But earlier he does some more emotional things that is fully adept at doing. He does not do anything overly memorable in this movie but he does not do anything bad really.

Oscar Nominee Best Supporting Actor Jaye Davidson 1/5- I did not fall for it that's all and had trouble believing the characters in the movie would fall for it. People were tricked I know but not me, and was just more of annoyed, and especially by Davidson even worse acting later on, he just is not a good actor and even admitted that his nominations was just because of the character only.
