Gaslight (1944)

Excellent suspense film

An excellent suspense film, that works incredibly well throughout the whole film. The psychological suspense works perfectly and seems very accurate and not forced in any sort of way. The house and London as portrayed are perfectly odd and foggy that add perfectly to the atmosphere of the overall film. Although I guess mostly who was who it maintained suspense anyways. The film never made a poor move really and its ultimate conclusion is very well done and satisfying.

Oscar Nominee Best Actor Charles Boyer 4/5- Charles Boyer is very good as Gregory Aton the very odd man. Describing his performance would give too much away from the film but he is adapt at every scene he is in and perfectly shades all of scenes accurately so they all work.
