Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

Unpleasant fully

This film is unpleasant and goes into those categories of films of hateful people trying to be as hateful to each other as possible. It does work as one of those films well I suppose, although who really wants to watch this, Some people I guess, I have no desire to see it again it is just unpleasant to behold, there is not a single uplifting element in it other films like this can have one this doesn't. I believe it to be well made but you watch it if you want to, you won't enjoy it but you might find it interesting I suppose. i found an ability to watch it by seeing it almost as two evil villains trying to get each other, and does kind of play that way.

Oscar Nominee Best Actor Richard Burton 6- Richard Burton just cannot be beaten in this movie. The acting is the strongest part of the film and Burton is the best of the actors. He properly pathetic in some scenes, perfectly manipulative in others, and spine chilling really in the last scenes. Burton does not get ever into a one note performance and remains brilliant through the whole film.

Oscar Nominee Best Supporting Actor George Segal 3/5- Segal is by far the weakest of the four actors in the film but that does not make him bad at all. He still holds his own to the best of the abilities in his scenes with the unstoppable Burton. His role though really has the least to do and element in the film he does not fully sell.
