Terrible... At Best!

I hated this film with a passion. Fifteen minutes into it, I decided to be patient while it tried to set everything up because I saw its potential--it was aiming for something big and I always give those kinds of pictures a fighting chance. Thirty minutes into it, I was annoyed and kept waiting for it to get better. Forty-five minutes into it, I just wanted all of it to end because the acting is below par, the story is pretentious, and it insults the audiences by pretending to be smart even though it is plain inane and soporific. It tries too hard to be different but it ended up messy and random. In my opinion, there is no story, it is merely a compilation of distinct scenes that were supposed to make sense in the end... but it did not happen. I'm disappointed with Sarah Michelle Gellar the most because I'm such a big fan of hers; lately her choices in projects are mediocre at best. What is worse is that this piece of garbage came from the director of the great "Donnie Darko." Avoid this one if you can because this is definitely worthy of a place in my Top 10 Worst Movies of All Time list.
