Perhaps the most beautiful looking movie of all time (just look at the fantastic boxing scenes).The fact that the film is set in Black/White make it even better, I couldn't even imagine how it would be if it were set in color. Also, perhaps the most beautiful performance by an actor of all time.
This is arguably Scorsese's best film, containing great acting and a strong dialogue in a fantastic story. Captures the 40/50s with great cinematography and fantastic music.This companionship of De Niro and Scorsese gives us the best movie of the 80's and of the best movies of all time.
