This movie was actually a good remake, in my opinion. I thought the story was nice and creepy, like the original, but I wasn't crazy about Jackie Earle Haley playing Freddy.

I own the whole collection of the nightmare on elm street movies (the old ones of course) and i have to say when i first heard they were remaking it i was totally excited bc freddy is my favorite killer.. so i was totally excited but at the same time i was afraid that it wouldnt tie together with the older movies.. when i went to see it i thought it was awesome and they did a good job putting the stuff in from the older movies as well. i really liked this.. but i totally agree i didnt raelly …
