The Dream is real

Christopher Nolan is a man whom I have had the upmost respect for quite some time. Memento is my favorite film by him. Memento is a brilliant noir thriller with one of the most creative story lines ever. Following Memento is The Dark Knight. TDK is easily the greatest comic book movie ever made and really pushed the boundaries of what a good comic book film really is. And other Nolan movies like Insomnia, The Prestige, and Following merely prove my point even more. Nolan is the Hitchcock of our time and Inception is but another testament to his awesomeness.
Inception takes place in a futuristic world where technology has come so far that we can now access other people's dreams through these strange machines. That's where our main character comes into play. Dom Cobb is an extractor. What he does is steal ideas by entering the dreams of others. Soon Cobb must perform Inception in order to see his kids again but his own thoughts might get in the way of his operation. (NOTE: I suck at writing plot lines so just see the plot sypnosis on the site lol)
The story is just as brilliant as Memento and just as compelling, if not more, than The Dark Knight. Each character is given an interesting backstory and the audience feels for everything that happens to them.
Aside from good character and story, the acting is brilliant. This is easily Leo Dicaprio's best movie and it also offers one of his finest performances. Each of the supporting players, from Ellen Page to Joseph Gordon Levitt to Tom Hardy, give excellent performances that show their true range as actors.
Overall, Inception is a modern sci fi classic that will surely live on for years. A must see.

Very good movie but the ending was quite controversial. Some of you wonder what happened and I found a video that reveals what really happened.
