X-Men
Better than Anything Brett Ratner Ever Did
2.5/4 stars
The main problem with X-Men is that it spreads its characters too thin. By featuring a cast of mutants, it doesn't allow the core characters to become too developed and, thus, the series lacks the emotional depth of the recent Batman films, for instance. At least, however, Bryan Singer knows how to direct action and these sequences are impressive and exciting.
