Although the film's pacing, as a whole, feels uneven (the first half is more focused on the selling of pottery during wartime and the second more on the supernatural element of the story), I definitely liked the whole dreamlike feel of the film. The final scenes are touching and the film drives its themes of love and devotion home powerfully.
