A Great Surprise.

This is a very funny and touching romantic comedy. It's equal parts Wes Anderson and Jeunet. The film manages to waltz between light-hearted scenes of absurdist comedy into more melancholy scenes that deal with the real emotions of falling in love. My only complaint would be that the epilogue (after the main plot) drags on and could have been condensed, to greater effect. Still, I went into this film expecting to be bored and came out loving every minute of it.
