Meditation on Violence

A pretty jarring film that shares similar themes on sex and violence as "A Clockwork Orange" or "A History of Violence," but isn't quite as captivating as those films. I had a hard time getting past the uneven pace of the film; the first half is all slow-building exposition and the second an adrenaline-fueled action scene. It felt like two different films to me. The ambiguous ending was thought-provoking, though.
