Taken is a 2008 French/American action thriller film starring Liam Neeson, Famke Janssen, and Maggie Grace. It is based on a script by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen and was directed by Pierre Morel. Neeson plays a former Central Intelligence Agency paramilitary operative who sets about tracking down his teenage daughter after she is kidnapped by Albanian slave traders while traveling in France.

I love Liam Neeson in this movie. Wait, I take that back. I love Liam Neeson in EVERY movie. He delivers a sensational performance and does the rest of the cast.

Normally, I think Pierre Morel's movies look stupid, but not this one. Check it out.
