The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Hoping for next films to be far better :)

Suddenly became a part of a journey with thirteen other dwarves, Bilbo Baggins finds himself on an adventure he never expected.

I can't remember why I didn't expect this movie to be as fun as it is. Maybe I thought it would be an adventure-packed one, though I am not saying that it failed on an adventure category. Gollum, oh my! He is so cute on this movie, I think his parts were the funniest and most enjoyable scene in the movie.

As a prequel to a very famous trilogy, I felt like this movie fell short in some aspects yet still managed to make all the viewers enjoy the film. I saw the trilogy (LOTR) and in terms of action and adventure perse, this first installment of the hobbit seemed to save something for the next installment. Yes, we all know that a single book is set to be adapted in three films, which I am really not sure if it would be a good thing. I felt like Peter Jackson and the team did not give their all on this first Hobbit film so to make the next films better.

But in general, STILL a good film, and a GREAT MOVIE experience.
