I'm still lost?

Everyone loves this movie. I do,too -sort of!
Honestly speaking, I didn't understand it. I understand the inception thing but not what actually happened to Mal. yeah. After watching it, I was still thinking of Mal! *SPOILER ALERT- maybe!* Is her mind set to dream world as the real world, and when they came back the real world, she thought it was part of their dream? is that it?
When I failed to understand a movie, i blame the director, simply because he didn't present the piece clearly! but in this one, i don't know if i can, Nolan did a good job, EVERYTHING! it's just that, Mal happened!

Inception Review comment
Cobb knew that inception could work, because he had done it to Mal while they both were in limbo together for all that time. He had to convince her to leave with him and go back to reality. So, he 'implanted' the idea that if she killed herself she would leave the dream and return to reality. Thus, when she woke up in the real world, that 'idea' was in place and she committed suicide thinking it would send her back to reality, but she was no longer in a dream and she actually did die.
