This is the film that makes me wonder how Eddie Griffin gets lead character roles anymore. His humor is good, his style is interesting, but he doesn't really portray the lead character role very well. This movie had a couple of funny points, but for the most part was pretty poor. This is one that you are better off watching if you can convince a foolish friend to rent it so you don't have to waste your money... of course you won't get your time back.
