This is a movie that I think everyone should see. I can bet that 90% of the people in the USA know the most famous song from this movie, and yet roughly the same amount have never even seen it... the song is "Zippedy Do Dah". This movie has been banned in the USA, one of the few Disney films to achieve that status. The reason for it being banned? Because what was somewhat common place at the time is now considered to be offensive. Because the movie shows slavery (while it doesn't show the bad side of it) this movie is considered to be too offensive for people to watch.
Well I said screw the government, and screw the FCC for trying to tell me what I can and cannot see, and quickly obtained my own copy of this film. The film is about a young boy that goes to live with his grandmother on the same plantation area that his father grew up on. His father tells him that he will enjoy the area, and wait until he meets with Uncle Remus the storyteller. Well its not long before he does meet up with Uncle Remus, and he hears the stories of Bre'r Rabbit. The live action was very well acted, and the animation was amazing.
I recommend that you do yourself a favor and add this one to the collection, it is well worth it!

Defy the government, sticking it to the FCC! I am sold. I will have to check it out.
