Back in the 80's Steve Guttenberg, Tom Selleck, and Ted Danson were all fairly well known celebrities. Today they don't seem to be making nearly as many waves in the film waters. This movie was a good family picture. It was a remake of a French film under the same title (only in French). The premise is that all 3 men are roommates , Steve Guttenberg's character Michael is an artist, Tom Selleck plays a construction worker named Peter, and Ted Danson's character, Jack, is an actor and he is off shooting a new fillm. One day they awake to find that a child has been left at their front door, its from an ex-girlfriend of Jack who says that she cannot raise Mary, and is leaving her to be raised with him because she would be better off. The remainder of the movie is the 3 men doing their best to watch after her.
The movie is cute, it was a big hit when it came out, and if you haven't seen it and you want a good family film with a story, and an ok action subplot then this would be a good movie.
